The Computer Hut is a progressive, 19-year old professional technology Services Company serving small and medium businesses with a focus on professional services such as law firms and accounting firms.  We are headquartered in Little Rock.  Our focus is to provide on-site and remote IT support along with a full complement of technology services.

What experience and skills are required for this job?  
  • High school degree or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least 3 years of recent administrative support experience.
  • Positive, energetic, "can do" attitude; self-directed and self-motivated.
  • Superior organizational/time management skills - ability to follow through with diligence and persistence.
  • Ability to anticipate changing requirements/schedules (next hour, next week, next month) and make adjustments to priorities accordingly.
  • Proven record of handling sensitive information in a professional and confidential manner.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), including spelling, proofreading and editing skills.
  • Proficiency and confidence with office technology (internet searches/downloads; databases; Outlook; PowerPoint; Word; Excel; Visio; Adobe Acrobat).
  • Powerful skills and resourcefulness in anticipating, preventing, and solving problems; understanding of when to escalate issues for further action.
  • Collaborative team player capable of working with a variety of individuals and situations in a professional environment.
  • Familiarity with computer technology and understanding of computer components is preferred.

What are the primary job duties for this position?

  • Provide administrative support for management in day to day tasks.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors and business partners to coordinate/resolve administrative issues.
  • Support sales activity by creating quotes, estimates and proposals.
  • Produce professional, highly effective sales/marketing presentations and promotional materials.
  • Meticulously schedule meetings/appointments; make travel arrangements; and organize events.
  • Draft/review correspondence and other documents for procedural and grammatical accuracy, proper format, and compliance with established policy.
  • Organize and maintain company/client/project records (online; offline).
  • Direct customer/vendor/business partner inquiries to appropriate contacts (in person and using automated telephone system).
